During the night of 26 February, Russia carried out a massive attack on regions of Ukraine using missiles and drones. The Telegram channel of UNIAN reported on the situation overnight. As of 08:06, the following is known:
In Kharkiv, 14 people were injured, including one child. A high-rise apartment building and a private house were hit, a gas pipeline was damaged, and the Central Park sustained damage.
In Zaporizhzhia, 19 apartment buildings, four private houses, and several non-residential buildings were damaged. More than 500 residential buildings in three districts of the city are without heating. Municipal services have begun emergency response work, covering broken windows in apartment buildings with OSB boards. The head of the regional military administration, Fedorov, reported that one person was killed and eight others were injured as a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Polohy district.
In Kyiv, fires broke out in three districts. Private houses and a nine-storey residential building were damaged.
In Kryvyi Rih, a five-storey residential building was damaged, and one person was injured.
