In 2026, 15 countries have taken on commitments to provide defense support to Ukraine, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal reported on Telegram following a meeting of Kyiv’s allies in the Ramstein format, RBC wrote on December 17.
The UNIAN Telegram channel provided more detailed information:

Germany will allocate €11.5 billion in 2026 for military support;

The United Kingdom will strengthen Ukraine’s air defense capabilities with £600 million, funded through frozen Russian assets, the UK budget, and partner contributions;

Canada will provide an additional CAD 30 million for drones;

The Netherlands pledged €700 million for UAVs;

Montenegro, Denmark, and New Zealand will contribute to PURL, an initiative that enables NATO allies to purchase U.S. weapons for Ukraine;

Estonia will contribute €9 million to the IT Coalition;

Lithuania will allocate more than €200 million in 2026 for military support to Ukraine, while Latvia will continue assistance at no less than 0.25% of GDP—about €110 million;

Luxembourg will provide €100 million in support for Ukraine, as well as $15 million under PURL;

Norway pledged approximately $7 billion in total military assistance;

Portugal will allocate €10 million for UAVs;

Poland will supply 155 mm artillery shells, and the Czech Republic will finance the delivery of 760,000 artillery shells.
