Ukrainian soldiers from the Achilles Regiment destroyed a pipeline that Russia had been using for covert infiltration into Kupiansk, the UNIAN Telegram channel reported on December 13 at 22:19, citing information from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
This route allowed Russian troops to build up forces while avoiding fire control. To destroy the pipeline, the AchillesRegiment, together with adjacent units of the Defense Forces, used three tons of explosives.
A day earlier, on December 12, Ukrainian forces broke through to the Oskil River, cutting off the enemy’s supply lines and liberating Kondrashivka, Radkivka, as well as several neighborhoods in northern Kupiansk. The Khartiia Corps stated that ground access to the city had been completely blocked and that all exits from the pipeline had been taken under fire control.
Syrskyi noted that in recent weeks the Ukrainian Armed Forces have regained control of approximately 16 square kilometers of territory in the northern part of Pokrovsk.
According to him, active operations are continuing in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration, while logistics in Myrnohrad remain difficult but are being maintained.
Syrskyi emphasized that no territorial losses have been allowed on the Kupiansk, Kostiantynivka, and Prydniprovske operational directions.
