Several Energy Facilities Attacked in Russia

Several energy facilities across Russia were attacked overnight. In Oryol, a thermal power plant (CHP) was damaged as a result of a drone strike. Local authorities reported that power supply equipment was hit, leaving parts of the city without heating and hot water.

The Telegram channel Supernova+ published several videos showing at least two explosions in the vicinity of the power facility.

In Vladimir, an electrical substation in the Energetik district came under attack, according to the Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Novosti. Eyewitnesses said that nearby houses were evacuated due to a fire, and access to the area was restricted.

A school and a kindergarten were closed, with classes moved online. Public transport service was suspended. Residents noted that SMS alerts about the drone threat arrived long after the strike.

Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeev stated that all systems are now operating normally following the attack.

The Ministry of Defense’s daily report did not mention the Vladimir Region. However, according to local media, the air raid alert in the city has not yet been lifted.

In Yaroslavl, according to VChK-OGPU, one of the targets of the attack was the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery.
