An oil depot in Feodosia caught fire following an attack by Ukrainian drones. The Ukrainian army has targeted this facility several times before.
Authorities of the Russian-occupied Crimea reported that there were no casualties. Public transport routes in the city have been changed, and residents were advised to store water in case of supply disruptions caused by firefighting operations.
The oil depot is used for storing fuel supplies for Crimea, including reserves for crisis and emergency situations. Amid continued Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries across Russia, the peninsula is facing a fuel shortage. According to Krym.Realii, local authorities have imposed limits on fuel sales, and residents are waiting in long lines at gas stations.
Russian military officials claimed that overnight they intercepted 40 drones over Crimea and 21 over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. They also reported intercepting 26 drones over the Astrakhan region, 14 over the Rostov region, and one each over Belgorod region and Kalmykia. Two people were reportedly injured.
It remains unclear how many drones in total were launched by Ukrainian forces and how many managed to evade interception.
