More than 1,500 elementary school students from all over Primorye dressed in military uniforms and marched through the city in columns “symbolizing different branches of the military and volunteer units,” said Oleg Kozhemyako, the region’s governor. The action was called Great-grandchildren of Victory.
Schoolchildren from the DPRK watched the parade from the stands. Kozhemyako linked this to the fact that the military from North Korea “took an active part” in the battles against the AFU in Kursk region.
