Russian Supreme Court refuses to satisfy Duntzova’s lawsuit against the CEC

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation refused to satisfy the suit of journalist Ekaterina Duntzova, who tried to challenge the refusal of the Central Election Commission to register her initiative group to participate in the “Russian presidential election”. This is reported by Sota.

Judge Oleg Nefedov considered the suit of Duntzova against the CEC. Earlier he satisfied the suit of the Ministry of Justice to ban and recognize the “international LGBT movement” as an “extremist organization”.

After the court ruling, Duntzova said she and her supporters were going to create a political party. “The party I propose to create is not the party of Ekaterina Duntzova. It will be the party of all those who are in favor of peace, freedom and democracy. My goal is to launch our self-organization, which will be built around many new faces, our like-minded people. In the near future we will publish the program and work on it together”, the journalist said.
