The first ship left the port of Odessa for the first time in a year and a half

The first vessel left the port of Odessa through a temporary corridor opened by Ukraine. This was announced by Ukrainian Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.

From the port left the container ship “Joseph Schulte” under the flag of Hong Kong, he is heading for the Bosporus. According to the Minister, the ship was in the port of Odessa since February 23, 2022. On board the container ship is more than 30 thousand tons of cargo, including food.

Kubrakov explained that the temporary corridor would be used primarily to evacuate ships that were in the Ukrainian ports of Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops.
