Moscow attacked by two drones: one targeted Defense Ministry compound

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said in his Telegram channel that drone strikes on two buildings were recorded around 4:00 on July 24. There were no casualties. The Defense Ministry confirmed the attack by two Ukrainian drones and wrote that the attack was suppressed.

TASS, citing emergency services, reported the discovery of the wreckage of a drone on Komsomolsky Avenue, 17. Following this, the Department of Transport of Moscow reported the closure of traffic on Komsomolsky Avenue from the house 18 towards the region. After it became known that the second drone hit a high-rise building of a business center on Likhachev Avenue, there was an explosion.

About the victims are not reported. Traffic on Likhachev Avenue is blocked. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, reported “Kommersant”.

It should be noted that the building at 18 Komskomolsky Ave. 3 is located the Department of Military Representations of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, engaged in the organization of work on quality control and acceptance of weapons, military and special equipment. The Defense Ministry’s military orchestra rehearses in one building, and the military university is located in another.
