Raiffeisen Bank will stop euro transfers to 12 countries, including Georgia

Russian bank Raiffeisen Bank announced that from July 3 it will stop making transfers in euros from the accounts of its clients to 12 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. This is stated in the official Telegram channel of the bank.

Also, it will be impossible to make transfers in euros to other banks in Russia. It is noted that transfers in euros within the credit institution – both between their accounts and other clients – will continue to be carried out.

The new conditions apply to individuals, individual entrepreneurs and legal entities.
