Malyar: on the Bakhmut direction, the AFU switched from defense to offensive

This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar in her Telegram channel.

According to her, over the past 24 hours the Ukrainian military advanced “in different parts of the Bakhmut direction from 200 to 1,100 meters”.

According to Malyar, “as of today, the Russian regular army is conducting combat operations, engaging airborne assault detachments”, while the Wagnerians “remain in some places in the rear units”.

On Monday, Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner PMC, said that the Russian army is retreating in the area of Bakhmut. He spoke about the village of Berkhovka, north of Bakhmut, and described the actions of the Russian military with the word “dragging”.
