Volodin will represent Russia at Erdogan’s inauguration

 

Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will represent Russia at the inauguration ceremony of re-elected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This was reported by Interfax, citing Putin’s aide Yuriі Ushakov.

Ushakov was asked if it had been decided who would represent the Russian Federation at the ceremony. He replied that Volodin.

Erdogan’s inauguration ceremony could take place on June 3.

Erdogan won two rounds of the presidential election in May, getting more than 52% of the vote in the second round, while opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu got 47.9%.
