Journalist Maria Ponomarenko who had previously been sentenced to six years in prison for military “fakes” case, was transferred to penal colony #22 in Krasnoyarsk krai. This was reported by RusNews, citing a local activist.
The activist said that the journalist was brought to the colony on May 15. Now she is under quarantine. The activist was able to give her the necessary food and cigarettes.
The reason for the case against Ponomarenko was the post in the Telegram channel “No censorship” about the airstrike on the Drama Theater in Mariupol. She was detained in St. Petersburg, and later transported to Barnaul and sent to the detention center.
