Russian security forces demanded that Estonians remove anti-Putin banner in border Narva

In the Estonian town of Narva, bordering on Russia, a large banner with the inscription “Putin is a war criminal” was hung on the wall of the castle. The banner is clearly visible on the other side of the river in Ivangorod, Russia. “Novaya Gazeta.Baltia” published a photo of the banner.
The day before, a big screen was put up in Ivangorod, where they planned to broadcast a concert in honor of May 9 for the residents of Narva.
According to Delfi, on Tuesday morning, delegations of Russian and Estonian security forces met on the neutral territory of the Friendship border bridge. Russian security forces demanded that Estonian border guards remove the poster of Putin. “Representatives of the Police and Border Guard Department said that such a poster is not prohibited in our country, we base our work on Estonian laws, and Russian officials have no reason to demand the removal of the poster”, Indrek Puvi, head of the Narva police department, told the publication.
