President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has sent to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine a bill to establish the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II 1939-1945 on May 8. On May 9, Ukraine will celebrate Europe Day, said Zelensky. “Today I have signed the decree, and every year from tomorrow on May 9 we will celebrate our historic unity – the unity of all Europeans who destroyed Nazism and will defeat racism. The unity that brings peace closer,” said the president of Ukraine.
