The death toll from Russian shelling in Uman rose from three to nine

The death toll from Russian night-time shelling in Uman (Cherkasy Region, central Ukraine) is rising, UNIAN reported on April 28.
First there were reports of three dead, then six, and now, according to Interior Minister Igor Klimenko, there are nine civilian casualties, including one child, but not all of the rubble of the collapsed part of the nine-story building has been dealt with.
Igor Taburets, head of the Cherkassy Regional State Administration, told UNIAN that 17 people were injured.
A three-day mourning period was announced in Uman for those killed in the rocket attack.
