At the request of the Head of the Internal Security Agency (ABW), the Head of the Office for Foreigners extended the entry ban to Poland for the Russian “journalist” Leonid Sviridov. A Russian citizen will not be allowed to enter the Schengen area until 2025.
In December 2020, the ABW applied to the Office for Foreigners to extend the entry ban issued to the citizen of the Russian Federation, Leonid Sviridov. In December 2015, the Russian citizen was entered on the list of persons whose stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland is undesirable.
In the opinion of the Internal Security Agency, the reasons for banning Leonid Sviridov from entering the territory of Poland have not ceased. In 2015-2020, Sviridov continued his activities for aggressive Russian propaganda aimed at the interests of the Republic of Poland, Polish raison d’Etat and the image of Poland on the international arena.
Due to the decision made by the Head of the Office for Foreigners, Leonid Sviridow was banned from entering Poland and the Schengen area until December 2025.
