The Kremlin’s aggression against Ukraine is an international crime

The war must be immediately stopped, Russian troops must immediately withdraw from all parts of Ukraine, including the Crimea and Donbass, and the internationally recognized Russian-Ukrainian boundary must be restored.

The Kremlin’s aggression against Ukraine is an international crime.

Some Russian politicians and public figurse did not have a chance to weigh in on the annexation of the Crimea and Russian aggression in the east of Ukraine. The Free Russia Forum deems it necessary to give these officials the opportunity to voice their opinion.

The Kremlin’s war against Ukraine violates the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the UN Statute, the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Declaration of the CIS establishment, the Budapest memorandum, two-sided Russian-Ukrainian agreements, and the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation; meets the definition of aggression established by the UN General Assembly.

The occupation and annexation of the territory of Ukraine, accompanied by mass repression against the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, has taken over tens of thousands of lives. It will be a permanent blight on Russian history.

The war must be immediately stopped, Russian troops must immediately withdraw from all parts of Ukraine, including the Crimea and Donbass, and the internationally recognized Russian-Ukrainian boundary must be restored.

A future democratic Russia must strive to establish good neighborly relations with Ukraine, based on principles of international law.
