Elsa Nisanbekova — Russian human rights advocate, Open Russia Human Rights Department (Kazan)
From the second year of university, she practiced jurisprudence in the commercial sector, taught jurisprudence, and since 2016 she has been working in human rights advocacy. She was involved in the protection of political activists detained at rallies, represented the interests of activists during searches, interrogations, participated as a representative in civil claims, legally accompanied the elections to the State Duma, presidential elections, and elections to the local councils.
